If you are contemplating working with CityScape and CryEngine as part of the virtual landscapes module you might care to look at a couple of Vista produced movies generated using these software. The first is a largely CityScape developed movie - Made in Light, which is a collection of experimental visualizations, really me getting to grips with CityScape, set to music, there are a few other similar movies available from Vimeo.
More exciting is Dr Eugene Ch'ngs excellent visualization of the newly discovered wooden circle near to Stonehenge, I think probably modelled in Unity 3D.
